What data we process

The legal basis for analytics cookies and the related processing is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation). The basis for necessary cookies and for ensuring the security of the website is our legitimate interests.

Third parties and data transfers

The website is hosted by Vercel Inc.; content and the database are provided by Google Firebase; the accommodation search widget is provided by Travelpayouts. Some service providers may be located outside the European Union/EEA; in such cases, data is transferred with appropriate safeguards in place (for example, the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission).

How long we retain data

Analytics data is retained for the periods set by the service providers (for example, Google Analytics — up to 14 months). Your cookie preferences are stored for up to 12 months, after which we will ask for your consent again.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to rectify, erase, or restrict its processing, or to object to it, as well as to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to info@visitliepaja.lv. If you believe that your data is not being processed correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the State Data Inspectorate (www.dvi.gov.lv).

How to manage cookies

You can change your preferences for analytics cookies at any time by clicking "Cookie settings" in the website footer. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings, but in that case certain features of the website may not work properly.
