Terms of Use
SIA "CALEIDUS," Registration Number: 50203388901, Registered Address: Riga, Riekstu Street 16 - 44, LV-1055, hereinafter referred to as the online store, provides the content available on the website and offers goods/services in accordance with the Terms of Use outlined below.
1. General Provisions
If a consumer purchases goods/services via the website, this mutual agreement is considered a Distance Contract and is subject to the laws of the Republic of Latvia that govern distance contracts, including but not limited to the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia and the Cabinet of Ministers Regulations on Distance Contracts.
2. Making Purchases
The prices and specifications of products sold in the online store are indicated alongside the products.
To place an order, add the desired products to the shopping cart. Complete all required fields and select the preferred delivery method. The total cost of the order, including delivery, will then be displayed on the screen. Proceed with payment to complete the order.
3. Payment Terms
The currency of transactions on the site is the euro. Purchases can be paid for using the following payment methods provided by the payment platform “Stripe” Inc.:

NB! When using the internet banking payment method, confirm the order and click on the “Return to merchant” button.
Personal data necessary for making payments are transferred to the licensed payment institution “Stripe” Inc.
The contract takes effect upon successful payment to the online store’s bank account. If, for any reason, the order cannot be fulfilled, the Buyer will be informed, and the paid amount will be refunded as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after receiving notification.
4. Delivery Terms
Goods are delivered to the following countries: Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia. Purchased goods are delivered via: email (gift cards), in-store pickup, Omniva, Venipak, DPD parcel lockers, or courier services. All fees and taxes payable to receive the shipment at the delivery destination must be covered by the Buyer. Delivery costs are displayed before order confirmation. Purchased goods are delivered to the Buyer’s specified address within 4 - 8 business days. In exceptional cases, we reserve the right to dispatch goods within up to 45 calendar days, informing the customer accordingly.
5. Right of Withdrawal
The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the goods within 14 calendar days of receiving the product. (Depending on the product, the Buyer may not have the right of withdrawal; in such cases, the reason must be clearly stated and explained). The right of withdrawal does not apply if the Buyer is a legal entity.
To exercise the 14-day right of withdrawal, the goods must be used only for their intended purposes, and the consumer is responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of the product during the withdrawal period. If the goods are inappropriately used, damaged, or negligently handled during use, or if the original packaging is lost or significantly damaged, the online store has the right to reduce the refundable amount according to the reduction in the product’s value.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must submit a withdrawal form, which can be found here: withdrawal form, and send it to the email address info@visitliepaja.lv. within 14 days of receiving the goods.
The Buyer is obliged to return the goods to the Seller without delay but no later than 14 days after submitting the withdrawal form to the online store. After receiving the returned goods, the online store shall immediately, but no later than 14 days, refund all payments received from the Buyer under the Distance Contract.
The Seller reserves the right to withhold the refund until receiving the goods or proof of their return from the Buyer. If the Buyer chooses a delivery method other than the least expensive delivery method offered by the online store, the online store is not obligated to reimburse the excess delivery costs.
The online store is not liable for delays or non-fulfillment of obligations due to circumstances or obstacles beyond the reasonable control of the online store.
The online store reserves the right to refuse to sell goods and to request the return of goods from the Buyer if the price indicated in the online store is significantly lower than the market price due to an error.
6. Consumer Rights Regarding Non-Conforming Goods
The online store is responsible for the non-conformity or defects of goods sold to the Buyer that occur within 6 months from the day of delivery to the customer or were present at the time of delivery, provided that such assumption is not contrary to the nature of the matter or defect. The Buyer must inform the Seller of the goods' non-compliance without delay, within 2 months of detecting it, i.e., by submitting a complaint. The Buyer may file a complaint by contacting the online store at info@visitliepaja.lv.
The online store is not responsible for defects that occur after the goods have been delivered to the Buyer. If the purchased goods have defects for which the Seller is responsible, the Buyer has the right to request repair or replacement of the goods free of charge.
If the goods cannot be repaired or replaced, the Seller shall refund all payments under the Distance Contract to the Buyer. The Seller shall respond in writing to the consumer's complaint within 15 days.
7. Processing of Buyer’s Personal Data
The online store processes only the personal data that the Buyer has entered when ordering goods, such as name, surname, email address, etc.
The online store provides personal data to the delivery service provider(s) to ensure the delivery of the goods.
If you have expressly consented to receive our marketing communications, including news, we may contact you occasionally with information about our services and the latest offers. To do this, we may process your email address, which you provided when signing up for marketing communications. The Buyer has the option to opt out of marketing communications by notifying us at info@visitliepaja.lv.
8. Dispute Resolution Procedure
In matters not regulated by these terms and conditions, the Buyer and the Seller shall adhere to the applicable legislation of the Republic of Latvia.
The Parties shall resolve all disputes between the Seller and the Buyer through mutual negotiations or correspondence. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiations or correspondence, the Parties shall settle the dispute in the court of the Republic of Latvia, in accordance with Latvian regulatory acts. Disputes between the Buyer (consumer) and the Seller can also be referred to the Consumer Rights Protection Centre or the court of the Republic of Latvia.
The Buyer also has the right to turn to the European Union dispute resolution bodies.
